The Faith

Introduction

Islam is a religion of faith, belief, and submission to the will of Allah (God). One of the fundamental beliefs of Islam is the belief in the oneness of God, also known as Tawheed. This belief is at the heart of Islam and is the basis for all other beliefs and practices in Islam. In this article, we will discuss the faith in Islam in detail.

Belief in God (Allah)

The belief in the oneness of God, also known as Tawheed, is the most fundamental belief in Islam. Muslims believe in one God, who is the Creator of the universe and everything in it. Allah is the Arabic word for God, and Muslims believe that there is no god but Allah. Muslims believe that Allah is the same God who was worshipped by all the prophets, including Adam, Abraham, Moses, and Jesus (peace be upon them).

Muslims believe that Allah is the most Merciful, the most Compassionate, and the most Just. Allah is the only one who can forgive sins and grant paradise to those who follow His guidance. Muslims also believe that Allah is the only one who has the power to create and control everything in the universe.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should say good or remain silent." This means that Muslims should always speak the truth and avoid saying anything that is false or harmful. Muslims should also be kind, compassionate, and just in their dealings with others.

Belief in the Prophets

Muslims believe in all the prophets sent by Allah to guide humanity. Muslims believe that Allah sent prophets to every nation and community throughout history to guide them to the straight path. Muslims believe that the prophets were human beings, and they were chosen by Allah to convey His message to the people.

Muslims believe in all the prophets mentioned in the Quran, including Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad (peace be upon them). Muslims believe that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was the last and final prophet sent by Allah to guide humanity.

The prophets were chosen by Allah because of their righteousness, piety, and devotion to Allah. They were given the task of calling people to worship Allah and to live their lives in accordance with His guidance. The prophets were also given the power to perform miracles as a sign of their prophethood.

Belief in the Holy Books

Muslims believe in all the holy books sent by Allah to guide humanity. Muslims believe that Allah sent down the Torah to Moses, the Psalms to David, the Gospel to Jesus, and the Quran to Muhammad (peace be upon them).

Muslims believe that the Quran is the final and complete revelation from Allah. The Quran contains guidance for all aspects of life, including worship, morality, and social justice. Muslims believe that the Quran is the word of Allah and is free from any errors or contradictions.

Muslims also believe in the previous scriptures sent by Allah, but they believe that these scriptures have been altered or corrupted over time. The Quran is the only scripture that has been preserved in its original form.

Belief in the Angels

Muslims believe in the existence of angels, who are created by Allah to carry out His commands. Angels are pure and obedient beings who have no free will. They worship Allah and carry out His commands without question.

Muslims believe that the angels are involved in every aspect of human life, from the moment of conception to the moment of death. They record the deeds of human beings and will be present on the Day of Judgment to witness the final reckoning.

Belief in the Day of Judgment

Muslims believe in the Day of Judgment, when Allah will judge all human beings for their deeds. On that day.
